Kakinada Deep Water Port was commissioned by the Government of AP in November 1997 with a quay length of 610 Meters. The Kakinada Seaports took over operations when the port was privatized in 1999. Ten years later, the port was expanded to 2,500 meters of quay length for multi-product handling and stand-alone facility for off-shore supplies for deep sea exploration.

1) 05 nos mobile cranes details as below:-
• Mobile crane LHM 400 capacity of 100 tons, the cost is Rs.74/- per m.ton (US$ 1.26 per m/tons) + 18% Goods and Service Tax.
• 04 nos mobile crane LHM 550 capacity of 100 tons, the cost is Rs.74/- per m.ton (US$ 1.26 per m/tons) + 18% Goods and Service Tax
• Mobile crane LHM 984 capacity of 40 tons with 06 & 08 Cbm grabs, the cost is Rs.53/- per m.ton (US0.906 per m/tons) + 18% Goods and Service Tax.
• Private parties are having shore grabs (both radio remote control and electro hydraulic) available at Kakinada port. The cost of the same is inrs.30.00 + service tax (us$ 0.52) per m/ton including service tax.

NOTE :- Pilotage is compulsory for all vessels. The rates in the schedule are subject to a minimum of USD 5,227/- for using pilot and Tug/Tugs and USD 2,616/- for Pilotage where no tug or tugs are required in respect of all vessels to be paid. The decision of using tug/tugs rests at the discretion of KSPL only.
3) BERTH HIRE CHARGES :
a) All Foreign going / Coastal vessels Per GRT Per day :- $ 0.184 upto 30,000 GRT
