Hai Phong Port is a major port located in northern Vietnam, situated on the coast of the Gulf of Tonkin, approximately 120 kilometers east of Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam. The port serves as the key maritime gateway for the northern region and plays a crucial role in the country's international trade. The port has substantial handling capacity, with an annual throughput of over 10 million tonnes. Hai Phong Port can accommodate a wide range of vessels, including those with a maximum Deadweight Tonnage (DWT) of up to 80,000 DWT, and has a draft depth of around 14 meters at the berth. Hai Phong Port is equipped with advanced cargo-handling facilities, featuring high-efficiency cranes, conveyors, and modern storage systems to ensure smooth operations. It specializes in handling a diverse range of cargo types, including containerized goods, bulk commodities, breakbulk cargo, and liquid bulk.
